Pura Vida- Los Ticos
Costa Rica is what made me fall in love with Latin America. I always had a interest in it because of taking Spanish in school, but when I visited Costa Rica my senior year of high school, an obsession was started. My whole life became Latin music, Latin food, and Spanish. I had let go of my obsession with Europe for a bit as my life had been about just wanting to go back to Costa Rica. I will advocate for visiting Latin America any day. Each country is so unique in its own way with its own identity. There is so much to learn and I think every American should visit the Spanish speaking part of our continent. Costa Rica is also beautiful, if you can’t tell!
