“America is known as a country that welcomes people to its shores. All kinds of people.”
-Ruth Bader Ginsburg
This is a big one, because the United States is huge and I have been almost everywhere. The thing is, I visited most of these places as a kid. I remember when I was younger I was always jealous of my classmates going to Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, and I was going out west again. Reflecting back on it, I am glad they did that. International experiences mean so much more as a young adult and I never would have really appreciated it as a kid. And now I have seen my country. I can truly represent my country while abroad because I know it and I have seen it. There is so much diversity in our country. That’s what makes it a really difficult country to just visit as a foreigner. You will only ever see one side of our country. While I won’t be updating this page nearly as much as my European pages, I want to build something for Americans to be inspired by to see their country and for Europeans who are trying to decide where in the United States to visit whether that is the west coast, the Rocky mountains, the midwest (wouldn’t recommend), the historic east coast, or the south. I hope you enjoy the way I see and experience my country.
